So, on this journey you meet all kinds of crazy people and this may be the best Caddie story I will ever have. I won't say the course but it was during one of my Florida trips. I remember being so excited to play at such an iconic place and the club treated me with great hospitality as the pro had been following my site for some time. I was on the practice putting green when the head pro informed me he had some great news but also some bad news for me. I elected the good news first which was that he paired me up with a member for the day who was a member at Oakmont, Seminole, Myopia Hunt Club, and Sage Valley. The bad news was the guy was a total mute. Impossible to talk to the entire round! I got to the first tee and went to introduce myself. As I extended my hand out to shake he never shook my hand and responded with a grunt. It was at that moment I met Tyrone. Tyrone quickly came up to me and told me not to mind him. Tyrone then informed me he'd be on my bag for the day and seemed to be an outgoing good guy I immediately looked forward to spending the round with.
Tyrone was a fit black gentleman with big sunglasses, a big smile, and a personality that immediately had me laughing from the second I met him. He is one of those guys that was proud to quickly tell me he was from "da hood" and it was entertaining to him to be around old white rich guys all day.
