LASER PUTT

It doesn't get much easier then laser putt. Simply strap the laser onto your putter and your set! It also comes with a guide for practicing your stroke. I found my putting drastically improved with this training aid. I think with many training aids, people purchase them with no real plan on letting them help us improve our games. Then we lose interest in the training aid and move onto something else. Laser putting brings us back to the basics. We want a firm straight stroke, and we want correct alignment. This training aid achieves both if used correctly. The aid gives us 2 lasers to follow. The green laser is our alignment line. It keeps our putter moving backwards straight and moving the putter through the ball on a straight line towards our target. The laser then will follow the ball all the way towards the hole. The red laser keeps our stroke consistent as it tells us when to stop our back stroke and proceed forward. When the red laser hits the ball its time to get our putter moving into the strike and through the ball. This aid also keeps our putter face square throughout the entire stroke. This is great technology that should be embraced in an industry with an archaic mentality.

My Plan:
1) Before even putting a golf ball, practice my stroke with the laser and the alignment mat. 100 straight strokes using both lasers.
2) Free range practice using the laser to putt balls from multiple distances towards holes. Normally I putt to every hole on the practice green making a total of 100 strokes.

The tour pros practice short game just as much as range practice if not more. Amateurs spend about 80-90% of practice time on the range then jump on the practice putting game to feel speed before heading to the first tee. This is not practice! If you spend just as much time on the putting green as you do on the driving range you will dramatically improve your short game. I saw drastic improvement in my short game dedicating more time to practice with the Laser Putt.

PS - It is much easier to improve your short game then to improve your distance and control on your driver.
